Orange Vs Bathurst event
Now ive started the poll this is a place where you could voice an opinion on how it could work. Would it be the top 16 players from each town in the region at the time or maybe a "captain" from each town selects a team of 16 or something along those lines. I think if the APL can do this for this region it would be great it could settle alot of old scores, maybe put up some state champ tickets or even a cash prize because this region does seem to get neglected in some aspects of a major event, so post your opinions even though i expect bathurst players to avoid this as they know 1) they are inferior players (lol) 2) they wouldnt travel further then kelso to play if it ever eventuated

hi sensation i see you want to try and get some feedback on an idea i think would finnally sort out this rivalry between bathurst and orange. 16 player from both orange and bathurst seems to few doesnt it maybe 20 players from each town or something just to makeit a bit bigger. some state tickets sounds good a cash is always a good prize Apl has plenty of that.
mauler, I dont actually see you travelling too far from Orange to play poker.
as a true leader of men, it would be an honour for me to lead my comrades into battle against the best of Bathurst, a 50-60 player event would provide a good cross section of players from both towns, we could have the top 20-30 players from the Thursday night for Orange and Sunday night for Bathurst ( as these are the biggest games in each town )qualify to play. Points would be accumulated to decide the winner. Orange would obviously be dominated by O.P.C and New Era players which would ensure victory for Orange.
ill be playing in bathurst next sunday night, so ill see you then cowie, maybe we will have that heads up game you have been avoiding like the plague
Thors idea is good, top 20-25 players from the main nights Thursday(orange) Sunday (Bathurst) over a season then play in an event run by the APL puting up state finals tickets and a cash prize or prizes of some sort
ill talk to thor and see if we can get the ball rolling on this, if not maybe we can do it another way
